Job Description

As a Delicatessen Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and making a tangible difference in the lives of our customers and team members.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day running of the deli department. You will be expected to contribute to a store that is exceptionally presented, welcoming, and engaging for everyone who visits us.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements by fostering a culture of collaboration and driving a one-team approach.
  • Maintain excellent department standards through vigilant stock monitoring, rotation routines, waste management, and quality control.
  • Drive business growth by leveraging your leadership skills to motivate and engage your team, prioritizing their health, safety, and wellbeing while celebrating success.
  • Delight our customers with an outstanding shopping experience by providing personalized service and exceeding expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment where they can adapt quickly to changing situations.
  • Direct or indirect leadership experience, as you will need to lead and develop your team effectively.
