Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes the overall development of children.
  • Learning Environment: Create engaging and stimulating learning environments that encourage curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and conduct a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play, to support children's learning and development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Observe and assess children's progress, and provide feedback to parents or guardians through regular communication and progress reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning community.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and actively engage in parent-teacher conferences and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience as an ECT or Educational Leader is highly regarded.
  • Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor or Masters in Early Childhood Education.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificates: Hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates or be willing to obtain them.
