Job Summary:

">System Solution Manager

This role is responsible for managing various aspects of the department's supported system solutions and platforms. Key responsibilities include leading a team to ensure successful transition of system solution projects, maintaining knowledge of approved platforms and systems, and forging connections across the department to facilitate partnership approach to solution delivery and system management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and management to the team to ensure timely completion of projects with high quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain understanding of the department's approved platforms and systems.
  • Foster relationships across the department, executive sponsors, steering committees, and business owners to support solution delivery and system management.
  • Develop strategic thinking, innovation, and process re-engineering to deliver high-quality solution outcomes.
  • Manage vendor contracts for supported system solutions, ensuring vendors meet contractual obligations.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks related to system support, collaborating with other program areas when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain system performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance by internal and external vendor teams.
  • Oversee team adherence to government, IDS, and SSU strategies, policies, and methodologies.
  • Lead the team in preparing, developing, maintaining, and managing detailed work estimates and schedules.
  • Accountable for incident management for level 3 support and overall financial management across all funding mechanisms.
  • Effectively manage and provide leadership to a team of employees by leading and supporting individuals to achieve their potential.
