Position Overview
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong communication abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care? Healthscope is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our specialized Coronary Care Unit. We encourage qualified candidates with relevant clinical experience to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
- Ensure the safety of both patients and staff
- Oversee and mentor nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
- Offer education and support to patients regarding their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
Essential Qualifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or in progress)
- Working with Children check (if applicable)
- Dedication to delivering quality patient care
- Adherence to ACQSHC National standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency
If selected for this position, your salary will be determined based on your relevant nursing experience in accordance with the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - ACT Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement.
