Intensive Care Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead a team of skilled ICU nurses in a critical care environment. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care for critically ill patients while managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ICU nursing team to provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Oversee the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance the ICU's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting professional development and continuous improvement among the nursing staff.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources to ensure the ICU operates smoothly and efficiently.
About You:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Extensive experience in an ICU setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality.
