Project Manager - Aviation Services
The role of Project Manager - Aviation Services is a key position within the organization, responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities to ensure alignment with timelines and deliverables;
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and meeting records;
- Support the use of Smartsheet for project management, including Work Breakdown Structures, schedules, budgets, risk management, and project charters;
- Monitor and measure project performance metrics and update records accordingly;
- Develop project status reports and relevant documentation;
- Support the mobilisation of complex aviation service delivery projects, aircraft acquisition and modification, facility selection and certification, and support service definition and acceptance;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, records, and databases;
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Engineering, Business, or Project Management (preferred);
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, including remote team members and external suppliers;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
- Experience in supporting project delivery with a background in project management;
- Familiarity with project management software such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms;
