About The Role

We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As part of the Defensive and Liquid Assets and Portfolio Intelligence team, you'll oversee the strategic management of liquidity buffers, capital allocation, enhanced cash investments, and collateral optimisation. You'll lead initiatives that maximise return on capital, manage counterparty risk, and ensure operational readiness across investment portfolios.

Day To Day, You'll
  • Lead the Fund's Balance Sheet strategy across the investments team.
  • Manage liquidity buffers and forecasts liquidity needs to ensure sufficient funding across all investment horizons.
  • Oversee capital allocation across investment portfolios optimising for cost of capital.
  • Enhance returns from cash investments, securities lending and collateral optimisation.
  • Oversee analysis of counterparty credit and assessment of counterparty capabilities.

You're a strategic, people-focused leader with deep treasury management and investments expertise. You've led high-performing teams, managed HQLA investment portfolios and continuously innovate to deliver strong risk adjusted returns. It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.
