About the Role
Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Orthopaedics/Surgical ward. This is a permanent position working up to 32 hours per week.
About the Team
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work as part of a resilient, adaptable, and proactive Orthopaedics team, providing exceptional care to patients and seamlessly integrating into the team. You will provide technical assistance during procedures, ensuring excellent standards of nursing care at all times.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrolled Nurse who will work closely with patients and their families, ensuring they experience a sensitive, welcoming, and friendly environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize a structured approach to carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
- Implement planned evidence-based nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring patients are informed and consent is gained prior to procedures.
- Contribute to the maintenance of an environment that promotes safety, security, and personal integrity of individual patients and groups.
- Maintain and adhere to Infection Control policies and practices.
- Comply with organisational policies, procedures, work instructions, and guidelines.
- Ensure confidentiality of corporate and patient information.
