Family Violence Response Specialist
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the complexities surrounding family violence, and experience in working with vulnerable populations.
About the Role:This is an ongoing position based at Box Hill with a 7x Full Time split. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to provide quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence.
The role requires strong risk assessment and management skills, as well as a sound understanding of the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a caseload of clients and delivering screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation and coordinated referrals.
- Working collaboratively to support integrated risk assessment and planning.
- Referring clients to services within the broader service system and providing information and support.
- Experience in child, youth, and families welfare.
- Well-developed risk assessment and management skills.
- A sound understanding of the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
