Senior Financial Manager

We are seeking a detail-driven professional to oversee the financial and cost management of construction projects in Western Australia.
This role is central to ensuring financial discipline and operational efficiency across project developments.
The position involves leading budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for project duration.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and report on cash flow vs actuals.
- Reporting:
- Prepare weekly cashflow reports and monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports.
- Maintain robust cost control systems to track project expenditures.
- Review contractor and supplier invoices, progress claims, and variations.
- Conduct monthly cost reviews and provide insights for financial decision-making.
- Manage subcontractor agreements, vendor performance, and payment schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and external contractors.
- Liaise with internal finance teams for accurate accounting and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project control or cost management.
- Proven experience managing budgets and financial reporting for large-scale projects.
