Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Disability Services Team Lead to join our team in the Sutherland Shire. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of two 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality care and services to our clients while ensuring the implementation of best practice standards in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Coordination: Coordinate the care and services provided to individuals living in our SIL homes, striving to achieve their goals and ensuring they have a say in their services and have choice and control in their own home.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate SIL home resources, including shared spaces, assets, and vehicles.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Lead safe work practices at your site with a risk awareness and management focus.
  • Documentation and Planning: Ensure all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Operations Management: Day-to-day management of operations in the SIL homes.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience providing care services in the disability, health, or community sector.
  • Client Support: Solid experience supporting clients living with disability.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Confidence and ability to coach and mentor staff to reach their full potential, while providing active support to customers.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate good analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong computer/technology skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Strong stakeholder relationship building skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum.
