Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Specialist to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and patient transport across all areas of the hospital, while providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a high level of visibility and presence throughout the hospital to deter and detect any potential security risks.
  • Providing assistance to patients, visitors, and staff as needed, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to remain vigilant in a fast-paced environment.
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also being able to work independently when required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
