About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Theatre Nurse to join our team at Calvary Central Districts Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective patient care in a perioperative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery
  • Implement and evaluate nursing care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve goals and positive health outcomes
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in perioperative orthopaedic nursing (or equivalent experience)
  • Recent clinical experience in perioperative orthopaedic nursing
  • AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
  • Ability to work unsupervised and provide clinical leadership
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
