Senior Cyber Security Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Emmbr. As a key member of our Cyber Security Team, you will be responsible for leading and maintaining technical security systems, driving key projects, and collaborating across business units to enhance security practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain technical security systems within the Cyber Security Team and drive key projects, working cross-functionally and with vendors to oversee security operations, including alert management, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Develop and maintain security procedures aligned with the NIST framework.
- Create and update security response playbooks for timely incident handling.
- Conduct security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and forensic log analysis and keep external SOC accountable.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of broad security engineering experience, coupled with a background in e.g. system engineering.
- Broad security engineering skills across secure Gateways, PAM, Endpoint Security, Email Gateways, and MDR Solutions.
- Proficiency with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, preferably Azure.
- Security certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or GCIH are a plus.
