Pond Technician Role Overview

The role involves assisting with daily farm operations, including pond remediation, feeding, aeration, and water quality monitoring.

Key responsibilities include supporting prawn health assessments and biosecurity practices to ensure optimal growth conditions, performing general maintenance and upkeep of the farm grounds and infrastructure, maintaining accurate farm records using iPads and digital systems, and operating farm equipment and machinery.

Requirements:
  • Physically fit and not shy of hard work; able to work in hot, humid, and wet environments.
  • Strong observational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to a rotating roster.
  • Hold a driver's licence and have reliable transport to the site.
  • Comfortable using iPads for digital record-keeping.
