Occupational Therapist Job Description

This role involves working as an Occupational Therapist in a community or clinic-based setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients and providing therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write and manage NDIS reports, including FCA, SDA, and SILS documentation.
  • Support clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Prescribe assistive technology to enhance clients' independence and quality of life.
  • Recommend minor home modifications to improve clients' safety and comfort.
  • Provide mental health support and counseling services.
  • Support clients with developmental delays, sensory integration issues, fine motor skills, and cognitive abilities.
  • Evaluate workplaces and provide ergonomic recommendations to prevent injuries and promote well-being.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • AHPRA registration is mandatory.
  • The successful candidate must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • A driver's license and own vehicle are required for regular travel between client sites.
