About the Role

We are seeking a strategic communications professional to lead our external communication strategies for consumer-focused priorities.

This role involves developing and implementing impactful consumer communication content, including media releases, articles, and digital assets. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with key media, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and executing external communication strategies from concept to delivery, ideally for a consumer brand or financial services organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing external communication strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Managing media activities, enquiries, and proactive opportunities to align with strategic goals
  • Crafting compelling consumer-focused narratives through written content and digital assets
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key media, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns
About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, media, public relations, or a related discipline. A minimum of 6-8 years' experience in communications, media, or PR is required, including digital and social media.

You should have demonstrated success in a leadership role, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies. Your excellent written skills and ability to craft engaging narratives will enable you to communicate complex information effectively to various audiences.
