Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at Infosys Consulting in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing customized solutions to address complex business challenges.

About the Role

This is a permanent or fixed-term contract opportunity (12 months) that requires a strong background in solution architecture, particularly in the Utilities Industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions
  • Develop expertise in a wide range of technologies, platforms, and tools, including cloud platforms (Azure), enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF), and API design and management
  • Work independently in client environments and manage relationships across the organization at multiple levels
  • Translate business needs into requirements for solution architecture
  • Collaborate with external service providers in the design and delivery of complex solutions

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as Solution Architect in Utilities Industry
  • Strong experience of solution architecture in large organizations, with complex, multi-application and varied infrastructure landscapes
  • Proficient in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure solutions
  • Expertise in a wide range of technologies, platforms, and tools
  • Ability to work independently in client environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience of managing and working with external service providers
  • Familiarity with, and demonstrated understanding of enterprise's business, solution and technical architecture
  • Extensive knowledge of general architectural and design patterns
  • Strong knowledge of strategy, architecture, service delivery and direction

Preferred Qualifications

  • High volume, transactional and guaranteed delivery integration design
  • External facing B2B messaging
  • Ideally with Mulesoft, Oracle and Optimizely experience
