  • Management and Leadership:
    • Provide technical advice to support the organisation's technology strategies.

  • Business Improvement:
    • Evaluate and recommend new IT technologies and methodologies.
    • Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints.
    • Collaborate with product owners and managers to support future business needs.
    • Research technology trends and recommend improvements for systems.
  • Operational Effectiveness:
    • Create architectural designs for products, services, projects, and systems.
    • Maintain IT procedures and standards.
    • Support application architects to align projects with enterprise architecture.
    • Ensure solutions architecture compliance and governance.
  • Service Delivery:
    • Provide standard definitions, reference models, and architecture designs.
    • Support a community of practice to align development teams with enterprise architecture.
    • Define principles, guidelines, and standards for solution alignment.
    • Monitor and address deficiencies in the current solution portfolio.
  • Other Duties:
    • Represent the branch in meetings.
    • Undertake additional duties as directed by management.
    Core Competencies:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
    • Experience with diverse technologies and IT solution design standards.
    • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    Special Requirements:
    • Medical clearance and current National Police Clearance certificate.
    Key Performance Indicators:
    • Effective leadership, analysis, and design of business solutions.
    • Ensuring solutions align with business needs and architectural standards.
