
Retail Business Leadership Position

This exciting leadership opportunity is perfect for an experienced store manager looking to take their career to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and profitability in a fast-paced retail environment. They will be able to inspire and motivate their team to achieve exceptional results, while also providing coaching and development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
As a Lead Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of retail managers and staff, and ensuring that all stores within your portfolio meet or exceed performance targets.
You will work closely with the Area Management team to develop and implement business strategies that drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.

- Drive sales and profitability through effective inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales promotions.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to retail managers and staff to help them achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with the Area Management team to develop and implement business strategies that drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and profitability through regular review and action planning;
- Providing feedback regarding promotions, product ranges, stock levels and deliveries to ensure optimum sales results and stock turns are achieved;
- Leading management of development plans and performance management across your retail business;
- Drive superior customer service through sales and product training programs;
- Maintaining a high standard of stock management and back of house operations;
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Area Manager or Cluster Manager (12-18 months) with demonstrated success in achieving results and targets;
- Success in managing, leading and succession planning Retail Managers and teams;
- Ability to work autonomously whilst ensuring effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders;
- The ability to drive a retail business through monitoring financial reports and actioning changes accordingly to increase sales;
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills;
- Effective and clear communication skills that foster collaboration;
- Availability to travel across various suburbs and occasional interstate travel as required.
