Practice Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our medical practice near Norwood. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience managing a medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Operations: Maintain and improve practice procedures and systems for efficacy and overall patient experience.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership support and direction for a team of reception and medical staff.
  • Rostering and Support: Provide rostering and assistance to the Reception team to ensure coverage at all times, handle difficult patient enquiries or issues, and manage scheduling, appointments, and billings.
  • Recruitment and Training: Manage the recruitment process and training of new team members.
  • Business Growth: Drive business growth and ensure ongoing financial control with consideration for profitability growth.
  • Compliance and Inventory: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies, and oversee office inventory and the ordering of medical and office supplies.
  • Team Environment: Maintain a positive working environment by being approachable and promptly addressing any issues that may arise within the team.

  • Patient Focus: A focus on patient care and providing a personalised service to patients and families.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support staff as needed.
  • Autonomy and Efficiency: The ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
  • Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative skills and be highly organised.
  • IT and Communication: Proficient experience in the use of IT and communication systems.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience managing a private medical practice (preferably a surgical practice).
