Job Title: New Account Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a New Account Manager, you will be responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with Sellers, including Brand Owners and Resellers, to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Contribute to prospecting and lead generation activities to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  2. Seller Support: Assist sellers with registration and provide support to new business launching on Amazon Marketplace.
  3. Account Management: Meet or exceed targets for account management, including adoption of Amazon tools to ensure Selling Partner Success.
  4. Subject Matter Expertise: Learn and become a subject matter expert on Amazon Seller Central, including tools such as Sponsored Advertising, Brand Builder, and Promotions.
  5. Market Analysis: Analyze industry and Amazon internal data to understand the competitive landscape across multiple categories and identify customer trends.
  6. Business Development: Identify unique selection or seller opportunities that drive growth and work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service, and other key internal Amazon stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Experience: 1+ years of professional or military experience.
  2. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
  3. Sales Experience: Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Pipeline Management: Experience with pipeline management skills, including utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  2. Sales Performance: Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals.
  3. E-commerce Experience: Experience in outbound sales and e-commerce or retail would be an advantage.
  4. Business Acumen: Ability to work with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  5. Communication Skills: Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
