Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an effective operational risk framework for Group Finance, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities
  • Perform thorough risk assessments, identify areas for improvement, and recommend control enhancements
  • Report on risk exposures, breaches, and near misses to senior management and the Divisional Operational Risk Committee, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements and enhance control effectiveness
Requirements:
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines, demonstrating strong theoretical foundations
  • Possess proven experience in operational risk management within the banking and financial services industry, with a focus on risk mitigation and control
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices, with the ability to apply knowledge in a practical setting
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex information clearly
  • Be able to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a concise and actionable manner
