About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director, Deals and Compliance to join our team at KPMG Enterprise. As a key member of our Business and Tax Advisory team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients managing their compliance and looking ahead to plan for their continued business success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for discretionary trusts, companies, and individuals
  • Provide taxation advice with respect to tax matters commonly identified in a business services client base
  • Project manage the annual compliance process for a large number of client groups
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, including answering questions regarding settlement and incorporation of new trusts and companies
  • Train, review, mentor, and provide feedback to more junior team members

About You

We are looking for a candidate with relevant tertiary qualifications, intermediate experience with the preparation and review of financial statements prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and Australian income tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals. You should have excellent attention to detail and high-level organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure to specific deadlines.
