Personal Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide care and support to clients living in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personal care and daily living assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, household chores, laundry, and ironing.
  • Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities, transportation, and assistance with shopping and appointments.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, including notes on care provided and any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a roadworthy vehicle (for roles involving community-based care).
  • Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
  • Ability to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
