Compassionate Caregivers Wanted

We are seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to join our care team in the Penguin area.

As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our aged community members, enabling them to maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Clean, mop, and vacuum floors, and perform laundry duties.
  • Prepare meals and grocery shop for clients.
  • Provide social support and transport clients to lifestyle activities.
  • Assist family carers with respite care and other tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and have a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Have a Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, or Disability, and at least 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, and transferring clients.
  • Willing to undergo a National Police check, Work Rights check, and confirm COVID-19 vaccination status prior to commencement.
