Job Description:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of civil infrastructure design principles and practices. You will be responsible for leading and managing the design process from concept through to detailed design, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations.

You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver innovative and buildable designs on time and within budget. Your expertise in road, drainage, and pavement design will be instrumental in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the design process for civil infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement design strategies to ensure compliance with TfNSW and council regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve design issues
  • Prepare and submit design reports, cost estimates, and supporting project documentation
Requirements:
  • 8–10+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design, ideally with exposure to varied project scales
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or equivalent) for road, drainage, and pavement design
  • Strong understanding of TfNSW and local government standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
