Construction Cost Manager

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at IIQAF. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for managing costs related to construction projects from initial calculations to final figures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Planning: Prepare accurate estimates and cost plans for construction projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Cost Control: Evaluate and negotiate costs with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor costs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that projects are progressing as planned.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and forecasts to provide stakeholders with accurate and timely information about project costs.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction methods and codes.
- Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, multitasking, negotiation skills, and proficiency in relevant software.
