Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring that every meal is exceptional.

Responsibilities
  • Create innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs, focusing on developing their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control throughout every stage of food preparation and plating.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients to continually enhance our menu offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Head Chef or equivalent position in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment.
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Hospitality or Culinary Arts, or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving exceptional results.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, allergens, and special dietary requirements.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
