Are you passionate about safeguarding information systems and infrastructure? As a Cyber Security Systems Developer, you will play a vital role in protecting digital assets in a complex ICT environment.

This is an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated Cyber Security team to develop and maintain critical security systems. With the increasing demand for cyber defence solutions, your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring secure-by-design systems that align with government security frameworks.

  • Install, configure, and maintain SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and IDS tools to ensure robust security measures are in place.
  • Implement security controls as part of ICT upgrades and initiatives to enhance overall system reliability.
  • Work closely with SOC teams to onboard data sources and develop detection rules to stay ahead of potential threats.
  • Troubleshoot SIEM performance and maintain threat detection dashboards to provide real-time insights.

Key Requirements:

  • NV2 clearance or ability to obtain, plus 5+ years of experience in cyber security roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SIEM deployments and security frameworks (ISM, NIST, etc.).
  • Proficiency in regex, systems integration, and automation scripting to streamline processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Security Clearance: Candidates must hold an NV2 clearance to perform this role. This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance. We cannot provide visa sponsorship for overseas applicants due to role requirements.
