Quality Assurance Professional

At our wholesale business, we are seeking an energetic and motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join our successful and respected Wholesale team.

The key duties include:

  • Audit Compliance: Manage audit compliance to customer and legislative requirements. Maintain a program of internal audits, calibrations, produce testing, and an Approved Supplier Program.
  • Training and Communication: Deliver training to staff in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and production activities. Communicate with external stakeholders including trade partners, suppliers, and customers.

The successful applicant must have:

Essential Skills

  • Good time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Be physically fit, able to do manual work as this is a hands-on role.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Hold a current drivers licence with own transport.
  • Be well presented, reliable, enjoy working as part of a team, and be able to work unsupervised.
  • Have previous experience in a quality control position, especially in fruit and vegetables and/or food export.

Degree Requirements

  • Fresh Produce: 2 years (preferred).
  • Quality Control: 2 years (preferred).

Licence/Certification

  • Forklift Licence (preferred).
  • Driver's Licence (preferred).

This is a full-time role with a roster of Monday to Friday, starting between 5am and 7am each day.
