Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality availability of fresh produce in our stores. This involves working closely with suppliers to source the best products, conducting quality checks on received goods, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and procuring fresh fruit and vegetables from local and international suppliers* Conducting quality checks on received goods to ensure they meet our high standards* Maintaining accurate stock levels and managing inventory effectively* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of fresh fruit and vegetable products and their handling requirements* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines* Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software* High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
