About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced production manager to join our team in the Boning Room.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production, ensuring customer specifications are met while leading production staff to achieve optimum yields, cost & productivity effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production in the Boning Room to meet customer specifications.
  • Lead production staff to achieve optimum yields, cost & productivity effectiveness.
  • Safely manage production operations to minimize risks and ensure compliance with OHS requirements, HACCAP, and QA procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Production management experience, preferably supported by previous hands-on floor level experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and leadership of OHS requirements, HACCAP, and QA procedures.
  • Solutions focus and consistent ability to follow through.
  • Resource coordination that is flexible and efficient to deliver production requirements.
  • An ability to develop and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to communication with all stakeholders.
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to company values and the organization.
  • High motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and time management skills.
