About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Perth, with on-site requirements as needed. The successful candidate will have a strong background in completions and commissioning, with experience in managing multifunctional teams and liaising with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of completions and commissioning professionals to deliver projects safely and on time.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate teams involved in construction and commissioning works at various sites.
  • Interface with other key disciplines and departments to ensure integration of activities.
  • Safely and successfully manage commissioning staff and technicians to meet project schedules and milestones.
  • Plan and schedule commissioning activities with respect to subsystem/system priority.
  • Manage commissioning test packs, ITPs, and ITRs.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, offer advice on operational procedures, and gather and analyze performance and safety data.
  • Experience in writing and reviewing commissioning procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings, diagrams, PIDs, PFDs, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to standard work practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as CMMS/Completion Management System knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Process, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering or Trade qualification - SMP, E&I, Process operations.
  • At least 10+ years of broad-ranging experience in completions and commissioning in the mining and resource sector.
  • Skills in planning, workforce management, field commissioning.
  • Technical skills: demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with relevant completion software applications.
  • Analytical abilities: strong analytical skills are essential for trouble shooting and process evaluation.
  • Effective communication: excellent communication skills are crucial for collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and providing clear technical advice.
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to work well with others is vital for coordinating commissioning personnel, interfacing with internal functional personnel, engaging in discussions, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Adaptability: ability to respond to diverse demands and frequently changing priorities, and work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Construction Induction - OHS White Card.
  • Strong perception and implementation of HSE.
