Alumni Relations Role

The successful candidate will play a key part in fostering strong connections with our alumni through creative events, programs and strategic initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurture and develop relationships with the alumni community to increase their involvement and support
  • Organise professional networking events and reunions that meet the School's philanthropic objectives
  • Manage accurate and up-to-date records within the alumni database
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple channels including The Crest and the School website
  • Work alongside volunteers and archivists to create meaningful event experiences
  • Identify potential donors to support fundraising initiatives
  • Assist in developing a long-term Alumni Engagement Strategy, including activity planning and budgeting

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of alumni relations best practices, ideally within an educational setting, and an understanding of its link to fundraising
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational capabilities, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, comfortable leading or supporting teams
