Our team operates at an enterprise level, collaborating closely with C-suite executives to drive value and operational excellence across various business units. We provide a consulting-style service that emphasizes best practices and delivery excellence.
Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Director-level consultant or Executive-level Program Manager to lead a team of skilled Transformation Consultants. This team will focus on supporting the operational functions of the Woolworths Group Portfolio to achieve strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business units, guiding them from program identification through to delivery. Additionally, the role involves managing the Strategic Procurement QDC cycle and overseeing a PMO function to ensure effective project execution and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Consultants and Program Managers, overseeing a portfolio of Procurement transformation projects.
- Establish credibility and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, demonstrating the value of program delivery.
- Champion agile and effective Program Management practices within the Group Program Management Tribe.
- Engage in a pivotal role that significantly impacts the success of Woolworths Group while managing senior stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive consulting experience and proven leadership capabilities to foster a high-performing team. Key qualifications include:
- Experience with a Tier 1 or boutique consulting firm or in an internal strategy role.
- Strong end-to-end Program Management skills, particularly in managing complex programs across multiple workstreams.
- Well-developed consulting and problem-solving skills, including analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and effectively manage relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience in leading large-scale corporate programs and developing procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
