Job Title: Clinical Education Specialist
Overview:
Clinical Education Specialist - Armidale Hospital. This is a temporary part-time position based onsite, 30 hours per week until September 2026.
About the Role:
You will coordinate and deliver clinical education for undergraduate nursing students, work closely with Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs), Nursing Managers, and university partners to facilitate student learning through regular check-ins, debriefs, and hands-on guidance across multiple wards and clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate clinical education for undergraduate nursing students.
2. Collaborate with CNEs, Nursing Managers, and university partners to facilitate learning.
3. Provide regular check-ins, debriefs, and hands-on guidance across multiple wards and clinical areas.
4. Assess clinical competencies and contribute to continuous improvement.
5. Promote a culture of professional growth and clinical excellence.
About You:
You are a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse with a passion for education and mentoring. You must be approachable, demonstrate emotional intelligence, have strong communication skills, and work well in a collaborative dynamic team.
Requirements:
1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
2. Holds relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications and clinical experience deemed appropriate.
