Clinical Psychologist Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join us in providing assessment, care, and management for a large, multi-centre, randomized controlled trial as part of the PRIORITY-CONNECT 2 Trial. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a teaching hospital setting with a team of seasoned clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical psychology interventions, including therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Insight-Oriented Psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with families to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and procedures that enhance patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current registration to practice as a psychologist, endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology, with a postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, Doctorate, or PhD) that qualifies for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian College of Psychology Administrators (ACPA).
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical psychology interventions, including experience in designing and delivering therapeutic programs.
