Job Opportunity:

The role of the Senior Mental Health Therapist is to provide expert clinical services, including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison and review as part of a multidisciplinary team for individuals referred to the service with mental illness, distress, and/or risk issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for people experiencing mental illness
  • Foster effective collaboration with consumers, families, carers, and other stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with relevant Australian authorities
  • Demonstrated experience in contemporary clinical mental health practice
  • In-depth understanding of NSW Mental Health Act (2007)

This is a senior position. All new employees must agree to adhere to relevant NSW Health policies.
