Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Animal Care Specialist to join our team at Sea World. The successful candidate will assist the veterinarian in maintaining the health and welfare of the animal collection.

Duties:

- Maintain a clean and hygienic veterinary centre
- Ensure all equipment is working satisfactorily
- Assist with preventative medical programs across the parks
- Participate in animal procedures under the supervision of the veterinarian
- Dispense and administer drugs to animals as required
- Assist in rescues and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife presented to Sea World or Paradise Country

Requirements:

- Experience working as a veterinary nurse
- Experience working with native and/or exotic species
- Current Cert IV veterinary nursing qualification
