As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will spearhead the development of scalable backend systems and APIs that adapt to our growing user base. You will oversee high-impact initiatives across authentication, permissions, usage tracking, and integrations, championing performance, reliability, and testability across backend services.

Cross-functional collaboration is key as you drive planning efforts with product, data, and mobile teams. Your mentorship skills will help engineers grow and align technically across squads.

We are looking for an individual with 7+ years of experience building backend systems, expert-level Node.js skills, and deep knowledge of designing and scaling APIs in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
