Teaching Opportunity in Medical Imaging

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing students for effective and ethical professional practice in modern medical imaging modalities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Taught Programs: Deliver teaching programs in radiography, medical imaging, and radiation therapy.
  • Innovative Teaching Approaches: Implement innovative teaching approaches across face-to-face, online, and blended learning environments.
  • Course Development: Develop courses, deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical sessions.
  • Student Supervision and Research: Co-supervise students, conduct research, and contribute to publications and external funding.
Key Requirements:
  • Clinical Registration: Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia is required.
  • Degree Requirement: A doctoral degree in Medical Imaging/Radiography is highly desirable.
  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in radiography is essential.
  • Publishing Record: A strong publishing record in high-quality journals or conferences is expected.
  • Strong Tertiary Environment Experience: Strong teaching experience in a tertiary environment is necessary.
