Unified Communications Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. As a leading mid-market Managed Service Provider, we pride ourselves on a dynamic culture, clear vision, and strong leadership.

About the Role
  • Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in telecommunications and unified communications.
  • The successful candidate will have expertise in UCaaS solutions like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, SBCs (preferably Audiocodes), and a desire for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing and delivering UC solutions for SME and mid-sized clients
  2. Providing remote and onsite support for voice infrastructure
  3. Troubleshooting UC issues
  4. Escalating complex problems within engineering teams
  5. Managing cloud and on-prem deployments
  6. Handling challenging UC issues, including IVR scripting
  7. Updating technical documentation and Knowledge Base articles
Requirements
  • A deep technical understanding of Unified Communications
  • Advanced experience with SBCs, especially AudioCodes
  • Proven experience with UCaaS solutions like Zoom and Teams; bonus points for Mitel, Cisco UCS, 3CX, Asterisk, Avaya
  • Competence in VMWare vCenter/ESXi, networking (DHCP, VLANs, HP Switches, Meraki), SIP Trunking, FoIP
  • Self-motivation, autonomy, strong communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset
