Technical Solution Architect Role

The purpose of this role is to design, implement and troubleshoot voice solutions using various tools and management systems.

You will be responsible for leading the assessment, analysis and development of complex voice/telephony/unified communications solutions, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.

You will evaluate risks to infrastructure integrity, conduct configuration changes on systems, validate vendor designs, and review bills of material and statement of works.

Additionally, you will design, assess, review and advise on technical specifications for integrating Telephony, Paging, Messaging and Unified Communications (TPM-UC) services into Queensland Health Hospitals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing voice solutions using various tools and management systems.
  • Leading the assessment and analysis of complex voice/telephony/unified communications solutions.
  • Evaluating risks to infrastructure integrity and conducting configuration changes on systems.
  • Validating vendor designs and reviewing bills of material and statement of works.
  • Designing, assessing, reviewing and advising on technical specifications for TPM-UC service integration into Queensland Health Hospitals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated ability to lead the design, publication, implementation, compliance and delivery of Enterprise technical solutions/ICT changes to industry best practice frameworks for large-scale IM/ICT infrastructure delivery projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong background in ICT solution design, review, change assessment and technical assurance.
  • Experience working with ICT governance processes, standard operating environments and technical design assurance.
  • Capability to manage multiple stakeholders and act as the key technical escalation point for complex telephony and messaging solutions.
