Data Insights Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our marketing and commercial teams.

The Commercial Team is responsible for the monetization of our platform through B2B partnerships with credible financial service providers. The Marketing Team is responsible for understanding user needs and creating effective advertising and communications to bring in new users and retain existing ones.

As a Data Analyst, you will drive business performance by bringing strategies to life from conception to delivery, measuring impact through testing and monitoring, and being accountable for customer and business outcomes.

You will collaborate with teams across disciplines to capitalize on commercial and growth opportunities in a highly agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with complex datasets like open banking and credit bureau data to derive insights and personalization for users and partners
  • Delve into product areas, from marketing to commercial, to support the business and understand internal and external drivers' impact on performance
  • Set up, run, and analyze experiments to improve the product
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities and areas for growth
  • Create and maintain reporting across the business and support the wider team to self-serve their data needs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of analytical experience, ideally in financial services
  • Strong SQL coding skills, ideally in Databricks, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with DBT and building/maintaining dashboards (e.g., DOMO or Tableau) to monitor key performance metrics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex analysis into key points
  • Curiosity and excitement to learn and grow as a data geek
