The Location

Northwest Tasmania offers endless natural beauty, with pristine white beaches, scenic trails, and wilderness perfect for hiking, biking, and water sports. Burnie, a vibrant port city, boasts art deco architecture, local galleries, and eateries serving fresh seafood and local produce. Latrobe, a heritage-rich river town, is famed for its fresh produce, boutique vineyards, and charming farm gates.

About the Team

As a doctor at Head Medical, you will be part of a modern 160-bed hospital that provides high-quality care across Northwest Tasmania and King Island. You will gain invaluable experience in general, acute, community, and developmental paediatrics with exposure to outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary teams, specialist clinics, and a vibrant community outreach service.
