Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems and Process Lead to join our organisation's finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the financial systems and processes that support our mission to transition Victoria to renewable energy.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and governance of financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and ERP systems. You will facilitate stakeholder workshops to define requirements and drive process improvements in line with best practice. Additionally, you will act as the primary liaison between Finance, business units, and vendors to ensure clear communication and delivery of business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and govern financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and ERP systems.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to define requirements and drive process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, business units, and vendors to ensure effective communication.
  • Conduct gap analyses of processes and systems to identify and implement improvements.
  • Enhance financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
  • BUILD strong relationships with stakeholders, coach for change, and resolve finance-related issues collaboratively.
  • Deliver training, documentation, and support to build financial capability and ensure consistent adoption of tools.
  • PRACTICE cultural safety by creating environments, relationships, and systems free from racism and discrimination.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business, or information systems is required.
  • CPA or CA qualification is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of financial systems including data migration, user acceptance testing, and system training.
  • Proven ability to lead the ongoing improvement of financial processes, data and reporting frameworks and the development of user-friendly dashboards and financial tools to support executive decision-making.
  • High proficiency in financial systems, data analysis, and visualisation tools (especially Power BI), with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
