VCE Physics Tutor Role

We are seeking driven and committed VCE Physics tutors to support student learning by acting as a secondary tutor during classes, helping address student questions, and clarifying concepts while the primary tutor teaches.

As an Assistant Tutor, you will conduct 1-on-1 video consultations outside of class hours, provide ongoing text-based support, and proofread and review learning materials to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support student learning in classes and through 1-on-1 consultations
  • Provide text-based support and proofread learning materials
  • Collaborate with other tutors to deliver high-quality tutoring sessions

Requirements:
  • Honesty and integrity; passion for teaching; high level of empathy; energy and enthusiasm; excellent communication skills
  • Independence and proactiveness; willingness to listen, learn and lead; intelligence and creativity
  • 40+ raw study score in VCE Physics; first-year university knowledge in Maths/Physics/Engineering or higher
  • Tutoring experience in VCE Physics; academic awards in Physics
