Job Summary

We are seeking a Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the provision of high-quality mental health services.


The role will involve delivering psychological practice using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop and administer assessments such as mental health, intelligence quotient (IQ), psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessments.


As a Psychologist in this role, you will work in various environments, including clinics, family homes, disability group homes, day programs and schools within your community. This provides an opportunity for diverse experience and skill development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide psychological practice using evidence-based therapeutic modalities
  • To develop and administer assessments such as mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism and ADHD assessments
  • To work in various environments, including clinics, family homes, disability group homes, day programs and schools

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement
