About the Role

Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Architect – NV1 cleared for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is a long-term contract with a 12-month tenure and a 12-month extension option.

As a Senior Data Architect, you will have a considerable degree of independence with work being performed under the guidance of the team leader and the Director. You will have proven experience in understanding the data framework and data pipelines in a large-scale organisation.

Primary Technologies

The primary technologies used in this role include Cloudera, Teradata, Apache, SAS, Mainframe, Qlik, SAP (HANA), DB2, Tableau, Power BI, and Informatica.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and related infrastructure, by aligning relevant architecture(s) and broader business operations and strategic goals.
  • Leverage extensive leadership experience to drive data warehousing initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement data models, databases, and ETL processes that meet business requirements.
  • Maintain strong understanding of data governance principles and practices to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Demonstrate stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, particularly with senior executive and leaders.
  • Stay current with emerging data technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5 years of previous experience working in a data warehousing environment.
  • Extensive leadership experience in establishing data architecture and driving data warehousing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data modelling, database design, and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in data modelling and database design.
  • Absorbency in emerging data technologies, including artificial intelligence.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
